1/ Command :

• EDOT2

2/ Description : This tool draws a hollow circle (often used to represent a terminal point or connection) at the intersection of lines or on a line in electrical sequence drawings.

• Function: It simplifies placing connection points where lines cross or connect.

• Symbol Scaling: The tool asks for a scale factor on the first run. The default base diameter (at scale 1) is 1.4mm. You can change the scale anytime using the FAC command.

• Compatibility: This is a dedicated CADian Lisp tool and works only within CADian.

3/ How to Use :

1. Type EDOT2 in the command line and press Enter.

2. (First Run Only) Enter the Symbol　Insertion Scale (e.g., 3).

3. Click the desired point on a line or intersection. The tool automatically applies INT (Intersection) and END (Endpoint) object snaps for precision.

4. The hollow connection dot is drawn at the　selected point.
