1/ Command :

  • PLATE



2/ Description : T2his tool automatically draws a rectangular plate with four corner holes, which is commonly used in mechanical and architectural drawings (e.g., base plates, connection plates).

  • Function: It creates a rectangle of specified dimensions and places four circular holes at defined offsets from the corners.

  • Compatibility: This is a dedicated CADian Lisp tool and works only within CADian.


3/ How to Use :

  1. Type PLATE in the command line and press Enter.

  2. Click the Center Point of the plate.

  3. Enter the Total Width of the plate.

  4. Enter the Total Height of the plate.

  5. Enter the Horizontal Offset (distance from the side edge to the hole center).

  6. Enter the Vertical Offset (distance from the top/bottom edge to the hole center).

  7. Enter the Diameter of the holes.

  8. The plate with four symmetrically placed holes is automatically drawn.
