1/ Command :

• OFS

2/ Description : This tool performs an offset with length adjustment while closing the sides, effectively creating a trapezoidal shape.

• Function: It allows you to offset a line while changing its length, and then automatically connects the endpoints of the original and offset lines to form a closed shape.

• Context: This is the 4th tool in the offset series, similar to of3, but it ensures the sides are closed. It works at any angle.

• Compatibility: This is a dedicated CADian Lisp tool and works only within CADian.

3/ How to Use :

1. Type OFS in the command line and press Enter.

2. Enter the Offset Distance.

3. Enter the New Length for the offset line.

4. Select the Object (line) to offset.

5. Click a point to define the Direction.

6. The tool draws the offset line with the new length and connects the sides to form a trapezoidal shape.
