1/ Command :

  • HBEAM



2/ Description : This tool automatically draws H-Beam sections, which are widely used in mechanical and architectural drawings.

  • Function: It simplifies the drafting of standard H-Beam profiles by allowing users to select from a list of predefined specifications.

  • Compatibility: This is a dedicated CADian Lisp tool and works only within CADian.


3/ How to Use :

  1. Type HBEAM in the command line and press Enter.

  2. A new window will appear displaying H-Beam Specifications.

  3. Note the Index Number (1 ~ 62) corresponding to the desired size.

  4. Enter the Index Number of the specification you want to use.

  5. Click the Insertion Point.

  6. Enter the Rotation Angle.

  7. The H-Beam is inserted at the specified location.

Tip: After insertion, you can use the MCEN command to easily select the entire H-Beam and move it by its center point.
