====================================================

1/ Command :

  • JH

2/ Description : This tool automatically draws a resistor symbol on a line, commonly used in electrical and fire protection sequence drawings.

  • Function: It simplifies the placement of resistor symbols by aligning them to an existing line.

  • Symbol Scaling: Similar to other sequence symbol tools (like FUSE), you can adjust the size of the symbol using the FAC command. The base size (Factor 1) corresponds to a circular diameter of approximately 3mm in other symbols.

  • Compatibility: This is a dedicated CADian Lisp tool and works only within CADian.

3/ How to Use :

  1. Type JH in the command line and press Enter.

  2. Select the Line where the resistor will be placed.

  3. Click a point to define the Direction (along the line).

  4. The resistor symbol is automatically drawn.

  5. To change the size: If the symbol is too small or large, type fac and press Enter, then input a new scale factor (e.g., 2 for double size).
