====================================================

1/ Command :

  • RTOB

2/ Description : This tool batch converts polyline rectangles into blocks, which is primarily designed to prepare drawings for the MPLOT (Batch Plot) command.

  • Context: The MPLOT feature in CADian typically requires drawing frames to be "Blocks" to recognize them as separate sheets. If frames are drawn as simple polyline rectangles, MPLOT cannot detect them.

  • Function: This tool solves that issue by instantly converting those rectangle frames into blocks so they can be recognized by the batch plotter.

  • Compatibility: This is a dedicated CADian Lisp tool and works only within CADian.

3/ How to Use :

  1. Type rtob in the command line and press Enter.

  2. Select the Rectangle Polylines (the drawing frames) you want to convert.

  3. Enter a Name for the new block and press Enter.

  4. The selected rectangles are automatically converted into blocks with the specified name, making them ready for MPLOT.
