  • SON



2/ Description :
This tool allows you to quickly draw a handle (e.g., for doors or furniture) by specifying dimensions and orientation points.

  • Efficiency: Automated drawing of handle geometry based on length and diameter inputs.

  • Compatibility: This is a dedicated CADian Lisp tool and works only within CADian.


3/ How to Use :

  1. Type son in the command line and press Enter.

  2. Click the Starting Point (typically the bottom-left corner of the handle base).

  3. Click a point to define the Upward Direction (axis of the handle mounts).

  4. Click a point to define the Leftward Direction (direction where the handle grip extends).

  5. Enter the Total Length of the Long Side (overall height).

  6. Enter the Total Length of the Short Side (standoff distance).

  7. Enter the Diameter of the Mounting Bars (vertical posts).

  8. Enter the Diameter of the Handle Grip (horizontal bar).

  9. The handle is drawn automatically with the specified dimensions.
