1/ Command :

  • VHB



2/ Description :
This tool draws the side view of an H-Beam standing vertically on a base plate.

  • Automation: Generates the geometry for a vertical H-beam profile sitting on a plate based on standard sizes.

  • Inputs: Requires selecting the H-beam size, defining the base plate dimensions, and the beam height.


3/ How to Use :

  1. Type vhb in the command line and press Enter.

  2. Check the H-Beam Specification Number from the list displayed and press OK.

  3. Enter the Specification Number (e.g., input the number corresponding to the desired size).

  4. Click the Center Start Point.

  5. Click the Direction.

  6. Enter the Plate Width (e.g., 150).

  7. Enter the Distance from Center (Start Point) to Centerline (e.g., 45).

  8. Enter the Total H-Beam Length (Height, e.g., 180).
