Dear Sir, We have uploaded the new patch, Omega 8 of CADian 2008 on the webhard on Sep 18, 2007. Please evaluate this version , which be compatible with AutoCAD 2007/2008 dwg, if you are interested in evaluating or monitoring the Omega. AutoCAD was everything of CAD till yesterday. Today, AutoCAD is ,just, one of many CAD programs. - Why ? CADian, Real alternative * Now, CAD = CADian ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ * What's new from Omega 8 on Sep 18 ? 1 1472 diameter or radius dim line were prolonged continously if move or copy when dimfit=3 or 4 2 1533 "align(using 3 points) has some errors, such as the object being aligned is disappeared, ghost images, zoom error, can't select, can't draw a point in drawing area" 3 1535 some drawings which font style cannot be saved. 4 1537 In some drawings, hatch outputs are different with AUTOCD's. 5 1541 The shape of dimleader drawn by CADian is changed in AUTOCAD. 6 1542 The hatching area drawn by AUTOCAD looks different in CADian. 7 1543 A drawing which couldn't get the hatching area. 8 1545 A text font name was saved, but the name was changed to another. 9 1546 If the drawing is saved and opend again, the propertites bar was disappeared. 10 Add the ACIS 3D Solid which missed at Omega 7 by mistake. * What's new from Omega 7 on Sep 14 ? 1 1457 : crashed cadian if save command at specific dwg file 2 1477 : ARCH_HATCH error in CADianARCH program 3 1513 : can't get the intersection snap 4 1523 : options> paths/files The path is valid, but the problem is caused by denied Function in Omega 5. 5 1526 : moving error of toolbars 6 1528 : array > rectangular > distance buttons are exchanged each other 7 1529 : Add the function which recognize multiple coordinates entered in notepad 8 1532 : error of chamfer 9 1533 : align : While using 3 points, it has some problems 10 1515 : align : While using 3 points, it has some problems 11 1539 : While drawing a circle, if it is canceled, then the ghost images are shown up , that's the problem * What's new from Omega 6 ? (on Sep 7) 1 1172 Done : error with moving of the toolbar 2 1456 Done : save error if saved R14 format 3 1459 Done : ICON error if execute ARCH second time. 4 1473 Done : can鈥檛 edit an polyline with an arc 5 1492 Done : Changing of DIM shape when copy or move the entities. 6 1493 Done : Removing og DIM leader line while doing stretch 7 1494 Done : DIM character of vertical DIM line was changed 8 1500 Done : mirror error 9 1506 Done : attribute - character width at specific dwg description: In Bug 1506 ::::Specified text is using different font [after substitution] and text Justification is set as Fit so width factor is calculated on the basis of Text's start and end fit point....The font are different so width factor is coming diffrent.When text Justification is Fit or aligned text width factor has no significance then,,,,,,it's calculated while displaying so stored value in database is not used. So they may different & even if we change the width factor for these justification it will have no effect on text's display. 10 1508 Done : Entity error occurred after execute fillet over twice 11 1513 Done : can't get the intersection snap 12 1514 Done : When extend an entity with wrong selection, following message is come up 13 1515 Done : very slow zoom in & out speed 14 1516 Done :application error of zoom dynamic 15 1518 Done : zoom error 16 1519 Done : If the 'color' property is selected with object type 'dimension' in the 'Quick Select' window 17 1520 Done : bts1518 After zoom error, cannot input 'point' 18 1521 Done : error of chamfer 19 1522 Done : We鈥檙e with a serious problem with save blocks.
