RE : Improper alignment of characters in a text
Question
Your check is wrong, please folow this steps: 1. In a new drawing type STYLE command, press [New...] button, type romand, press [OK], select Romand.shx file from Text Font / Name:, press [Apply] button and finally press [OK]. Now you have a new romand font style defined with Romand.shx file. 2. Type DTEXT command, type MC, pick a midle-center point, height 0.2, rotation 0.0 and for Text type 5 and next press Enter key. 3. With mouse cursor pick to the 5 text to see the grip and observe where is 5 text is not in center. This error occurs because SHX fonts are read or interpreted wrong font parameters. My test is in CADian 2010 (Patch 1.51).
